You can apply for an ‘injunction’ if you’ve been the victim of domestic violence. An injunction is a court order to protect you or your child from being harmed or threatened by the person who is abused you - this is called a ‘non-molestation order’.
We can also assist in obtaining an order deciding who can live in the family home or enter the surrounding area - this is called an ‘occupation order’.
How much does this service cost?
Fixed fee of £1200 plus VAT
As part of our fixed fee we will:
- Provide you with a dedicated and experienced solicitor to work on your matter
- Obtain your instructions
- Advise you on the matter
- Make an application for the relevant Injunction on your behalf
- Attend the Court with you and the counsel on the matter
- Serve the Order on the Respondent so it becomes effective
Court fee – there is no Court fee
Barrister’s Fees – We instruct barristers in majority of our cases involving contested family matters and children proceedings. The professional fees for Counsel’s advice and representation at the Court hearings will heavily depend on your individual matter and these cannot be estimated without further information regarding your case. Upon instructions we will do our best to provide you with number of barristers’ profiles and their quotations so that you can make the right choice.
